The Academy is an intimate hotel that was originally built in 1776 as five Georgian homes. Each of its five houses has developed its own distinctive character over the years and these have now been combined to create a stunning boutique-style hotel. Beautifully decorated throughout and retaining many original Georgian features, The Academy has a Georgian conservatory, a library and even two private gardens. The hotel incorporates 49 guestrooms including 10 suites, each individually designed and decorated to create a unique look.
